 We have two main growing seasons here in Clearwater. The summer is good for those heat loving plants and the winter is ideal for the cool weather crops. Its important to know which plants grow best in which season.

HOT WEATHER CROPS

There are about twenty plants that love the hot weather and grow very well.

 COOL WEATHER CROPS

Cool weather crops include celery, broccoli, brussel sprouts, cauliflower, kale, lettuces, cabbage, peas, beets, carrots, Swiss Chard, spinach, arugula, many herbs such as fennel, lemon balm, and many more.

IN-BETWEEN CROPS

The in-between months are when you plant certain plants such as tomatoes and peppers. This is the time when you plant seeds so as to have starter plants for the other two seasons, as well as continue to harvest crops from the other two.

There is always something to eat from the garden.

We do not ship plants out and therefore only supply the local folks with these plants. Currently, you will find us at our Saturday plant sale at 1612 Gentry Street, Clearwater, FL. We are also at other markets. Watch for us.
