Florida CropsWe have two main growing seasons here in Clearwater. The summer is good for those heat loving plants and the winter is ideal for the cool weather crops. Its important to know which plants grow best in which season. HOT WEATHER CROPS There are about twenty plants that love the hot weather and grow very well.
COOL WEATHER CROPS Cool weather crops include celery, broccoli, brussel sprouts, cauliflower, kale, lettuces, cabbage, peas, beets, carrots, Swiss Chard, spinach, arugula, many herbs such as fennel, lemon balm, and many more. IN-BETWEEN CROPS The in-between months are when you plant certain plants such as tomatoes and peppers. This is the time when you plant seeds so as to have starter plants for the other two seasons, as well as continue to harvest crops from the other two. There is always something to eat from the garden. Attend our workshops and learn all you need to know to successfully grow your own nutritious and delicious food. | SHIPPING We do not ship plants out and therefore only supply the local folks with these plants.
